About Me

Joanna joined Central Law Training in June 2013 as Private Client Programme Development Consultant. Joanna studied Law at the University of Warwick and completed her LPC with distinction at the College of Law, Birmingham. Joanna joined Higgs & Sons as a trainee in 2003 and qualified into the firm’s Private Client department in 2005 becoming an Associate in 2008. Whilst at Higgs, Joanna administered a number of high net worth estates and acted for a number of wealthy families in connection with their wills and inheritance tax planning and asset preservation. She has also lectured for the Law Society. Joanna is a member of STEP, passing all entrance exams with distinction. Outside of Central Law Training, Joanna is a member of Birmingham Choral Union and runs Up & Downs, a support group for children with Down Syndrome and their families.
